I don’t know about you but for me, there is something about cigars that make you feel so much better about yourself. When smoking a cigar, it is not only about the flavor – it is the whole experience. And sometimes, I find myself fantasizing about my wildest dreams. One time I am big Mafioso like Tony Soprano. Another time, I might be a suave spy like James Bond.

And speaking of espionage, I found this really cool lighter that can add to your spy fantasies. Dubbed the Lighter Camera Lighter DVR Hidden Digital Video Recorder with Micro Camera – yeah I know, the name kinda takes some of the coolness away – this baby doubles as a lighter AND a hidden camera. I can just imagine leaving the lighter on a desk, a coffee table, or some other non-intrusive place in the house and then checking on the video recording later on. Not that I would find anything interesting – I highly doubt it – but the mere idea of having the capability of recording things appeals to my espionage senses.

Anyhow, the lighter’s features include:

•	Dimension: 64.5mm (L) * 38.4mm (W) * 18.4mm (H)
•	Normal Lighter look makes it ideal for a variety of surveillance uses.
•	It’s great for use as a hidden camera, spy cam etc.
•	Real time recording 30 F/S in AVI video format (640×480, QVGA)
•	Color video with voice lets you clearly see who’s there & hear what they say.
•	There’s no long cord for you to hide or Wireless frequency to detect.
•	Use micro SD card from 128MB to 8GB ( Not included)
•	Playback video on cell phone or PC

Pretty nifty huh? At the very least, you can use it to find out who has been nicking your cigars.

While I have heard of them before, I didn’t really pay much attention to them. I have only begun to appreciate the art involved in making these guitars.

Will Sluetal, on the other hand, has been at it for quite some time. He is from Grand Haven, Michigan, and claims that he can make an excellent musical instrument given four hours and a whole lot of passion and talent. I must say, his work supports his claim.

Sluetal’s day job is the chief mechanic of the Grand Haven Department of Public Works. The skills that are integral to his day job are carried over to his passion, the creation of a wide variety of musical instruments from guitar boxes. Guitars, ukeleles, madolins, drums, and other “unnamed” instruments – these are only some of Sluetal’s works of art. Oh, and everything he creates is electric.

So does this mean that he is an avid cigar smoker? Well, he does smoke but he does not have to spend a fortune in cigars to obtain all the boxes that he needs and wants. He does have the smarts. What Sluetal did – and does – was to make guitars for the presidents of cigar companies. He gave these as gifts and he has been amply compensated with all the empty cigar boxes that he needs.

If you want one of his works, you can visit Elderly Instruments in Lansing and Surroundings in Manistee. Make sure you have about $125!

During special occasions such as birthdays or Christmas, the immediate problem that a person would have is determining what to give to that person. If there is one criteria for a person to determine the perfect gift, it is by knowing the person and seeing what he appreciates the most.

For cigar smokers, it does not necessarily have to be the expensive Cuban cigar that everyone is raving about. Sure a person would probably praise you in delight if he would get one, but there are more things that a cigar lover would truly appreciate. There are cigar accessories such as that of cigar cutters and humidors among others.

The list of possible cigar add-on could go on, but finding out of these things is simple if a person would indeed know what it takes to enjoy a cigar and the things needed by a person to go by it.

<img src="http://cigar-blog.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/07/cigar-cutter.jpg" align="left"alt="" title="cigar-cutter" width="240" height="114" class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-100" />
There is nothing like the sight and smell of a fresh cigar to excite a cigar lover’s senses, is there? However, you know very well that you do not simply smoke a cigar immediately. One of the first things that you have to do is to cut the cap of the cigar. Cigar cutters are one of the most important accessories for cigar lovers. For those who are not very familiar with them, there are three general types of cigar cutters. Let us take a look at them.

Straight cigar cutters
As the name implies, cigar cutters of this type make a straight, clean cut. The most common type of straight cigar cutter is the guillotine. It could be either single blade or straight blade. Guillotines are preferred by many smokers because they are very affordable and can be carried around very conveniently.

Wedge cigar cutters
These cigar cutters are also called “V” cutters. Again, as the name implies, this group of cigar cutters make a wedge on the cap of the cigar. This is as opposed to the straight cut that guillotine cutters make.

Hole punch cutters
Instead of cutting the cap totally off like straight cigar cutters do and instead of making a wedge on the cigar like v cutters do, hole punch cutters make a hole in the cap of the cigar. An important thing to remember when using hole punch cutters – make sure that the hole is large enough. Otherwise, you might have problems with the draw.
