Arista Cigars has announced its Puro Ambar and Cimarron lines will now brown as Artista Puro Ambar and Artista Cimarron. The changes are the latest step in the overall rebranding of the Artista Cigars portfolio introduced in 2022. As part of the process, both lines will receive new packaging.
“This is a logical step for our older marks that previously existed as stand-alone brands,” said Kevin Newman Vice President of Artista Cigars in a press release, “now retailers and consumers will be able to easily classify and identify these brands as part of the Artista Family.”
The new packaging is uses a consistent design to the other “Artista” branded cigars. At the same time, it will have distinctions to show they are different lines under the brand.
One other change is that Artista is discontinuing the Cimarron Connecticut and Cimmaron Habano lines (Habano was exclusive to the European market). The Artista Cimarron will now only feature the San Andres wrapper. Artista Cimarrron comes in three sizes: Robusto (5 x 54), Toro (6 x 50), and Doble Toro (6 x 60). All three sizes will be presented in newly designed 20-count boxes with the Artista branding.
Meanwhile, other than the packaging changes, there will be no other changes to the Artista Puro Ambar line. It will remain in the same three sizes: Corona (5 1/2 x 42), Robusto (5 x 50), and Toro (6 x 54). All three sizes will be presented in newly designed 20-count boxes with the Artista branding.
