Aganorsa Leaf has announced next month it will release its Rare Leaf Reserve Maduro. This is the second cigar under the Rare Leaf brand. Like the original Rare Leaf Reserve, this will be a blend available exclusively to members of the Aganorsa Select retail program.
Sticking with the mantra of the original Rare Leaf release, the maduro edition utilizes tobaccos from what Aganorsa Leaf says are from select lots from their best farms. The blend features a double binder and filers from Aganorsa’s farms in Jalapa and Esteli. The cigar itself is finished with a Mexican San Andres wrapper. The cigar will come in three sizes: Robusto (5 1/4 x 52), Toro (6 x 54), and Box Pressed Belicoso (6 x 52). All of the size are presented in 15-count boxes. Pricing ranges from $13.50 to $14.50.
“When we launched Rare Leaf in 2021, the idea was to provide our retail partners who make the commitment to our Aganorsa Select Program with a special blend they would have exclusivity on.” states Terence Reilly, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Aganorsa Leaf. “Due to the success of the original release and our Aganorsa Select retail partners’ enthusiasm for it, we are adding Rare Leaf Maduro, a truly powerful expression of Aganorsa tobacco and one I haven’t experienced before. This blend will make you sit up and pay attention while smoking or, as we say at Aganorsa, validating.”
The Rare Leaf Reserve Maduro will begin shipping in May.
