Over the years, JR Cigar has collaborated for many releases under the “Crafted By” umbrella. Now, JR Cigars will take a new step with the JR Cigar team taking a more active role in the collaboration. JR is introducing the “Crafted by JR” umbrella, which will showcase the talents of the JR team. The first release using this concept will be a collaboration with Crowned Heads known as Crafted By JR: Crowned Heads.
Like the original Crafted By series, each Crafted By JR release will focus on a collaboration with a different manufacturer, but in this case, will be built from the ground up by the JR Cigar team. This will include activities from the name and logo design to packaging and the blend profile. JR also says every step of the cigar creation process has been planned, developed, and executed by the JR team.
Crafted By JR: Crowned Heads is produced in Nicaragua and features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over a Connecticut Binder and Nicaraguan fillers. The cigar is a limited edition cigar that will come in one size – a 5 1/2 x 52 Robusto. There will be a total of 500 ten-count boxes produced. Pricing is set at $11.50 SRP per cigar ($115.00 SRP per box). Each box is adorned with a custom wax seal.
