Warped Cigars has announced a new cigar known as Sky Moon. According to what the company has told Cigar Aficionado magazine, the cigar is a mash-up of sorts between two other Warped releases, Sky Flower and Moon Garden.
The report says tha Sky Moon was originally a personal blend for Warped Cigars’ owner Kyle Gellis. The cigar will be produced at Agricola Ganadera Norteña S.A. (Aganorsa Leaf) in Estelí, Nicaragua. The cigar will come in one size – a 5 1/2 x 42 Corona-sized vitola with a 109 (bullet) cap. The cigar consists of 100% Nicaraguan tobaccos including a Shade Grown Corojo wrapper from Jalapa, a Nicaraguan binder, and Corojo ’99 and Criollo ’98 tobaccos from Nicaragua from the filler. The filler tobaccos include Medio Tiempo (a high priming tobacco that is scarce because it is produced in low yields). Medio Tiempo is a characteristic of both the Sky Flower and Moon Garden releases.
The cigars are being made available in 50-count cabinets with a total of 500 cabinets produced. Pricing is reported at $11.00.
The report says Sky Moon will begin shipping soon and will also be showcased at the 2023 PCA Trade Show which opens July 7 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
