Maya Selva Cigars has announced it will debut a new line at InterTabac 2024 under its Villa Zambrano brand, VZ Danlí. This line pays homage to Danlí, a city in Honduras considered by many to be the epicenter of the Honduran cigar industry. Danlí is located 92 kilometers east of Tegucigalpa, the capital of Honduras.
The blend features a wrapper that Maya Selva called Carmelita. The remainder consists of Honduran tobaccos, including leaves from the Trojes, Azacualapa, and Jamastran Valley regions. VZ Danlí is available in two sizes: Robusto (5 x 50) and Toro (6 x 56). Both cigars come in 25-count boxes. Pricing is set at ?7.40 / $7.50 SRP for the ?8.90 / $8.50 SRP for the Toro.
The Villa Zambrano VZ Danlí is targeted for an October 2024 release. InterTabac 2024 will take place September 19-21 in Dortmund, Germany.
