United Cigars have announced their flagship line has gone from Box-Pressed to a Round vitola and have sourced different aged Dominican tobaccos to alter the profile. The United Cigars Natural and Maduro Lines were originally launched in 2010 in a box-pressed format. Over the past several years the line has evolved and been restructured at the Tabaclera Magia factory in Gurabo, Dominican Republic.
“I wanted to see how our United line smoked before going into the box presses,” said Oliver Nivaud, Director of Operations for United Cigars. “The traditional round format experience was great, so I spent the past 18 months fine tuning the blend to enhance the flavor and have a more balanced cigar.”
