Crowned Heads have announced their fifth limited edition extension to the Mil Días brand, ‘Mil Días Marranitos E648 LE 2023.’
Marranitos E648 utilizes the original Mil Días binder and filler tobaccos, but similar to the Mil Días Marranitos EL 2022, it is finished with an Ecuadorian Sumatra cover leaf.
“Marranitos E648 is a nod to the man behind Mil Días, Eradio Pichardo,” explained Crowned Heads cofounder, Jon Huber. “I had another Marranitos release on the docket for 2023, and I asked Eradio what his favorite vitola was, which turned out to be a classic 6 1 /8? x 48. Unfortunately, the second half of last year saw a lot of misconceptions and confusion surrounding the Mil Días brand, and as a result, we intentionally took our foot off the gas on expanding the line. The Mil Días Marranitos E648 is our way of saying that Mil Días is not changing, and that we are excited to continue working with Eradio Pichardo and his team at TacaNicsa.”
Production of Mil Días Marranitos E648 LE 2023 will be limited to 2,500 (12-count) boxes, i.e., 30,000 total cigars, and is manufactured at TacaNicsa in Esteli, Nicaragua, under the supervision of Eradio Pichardo. Mil Dfas Marranitos E648 will have a suggested retail price of $12.50 per cigar and will begin shipping in early April.
