Ferio Tego will once again join Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA) and their annual Exclusive Series, where roughly a dozen manufacturers showcase limited sizes and/or blends that can be sold only through TAA-authorized retailers across the country.
The Timeless brand’s involvement stretches back to the Nat Sherman days, beginning with the Timeless Limited Edition TAA 2019 cigar. There was a followup in 2020, a break for 2021, and a return (now with Ferio Tego) for 2022 and 2023.
“It is a real thrill to bring this limited edition to market via some of the finest tobacconists in The United States, the TAA Retailers”, said Michael Herklots, Co-owner of Ferio Tego. “The 2023 Timeless TAA is an exciting follow up to the 2022 release which sold out rapidly and remains in high demand.”
This year’s release is dubbed Ferio Tego Timeless TAA 2023, being very similar to last year’s release on paper. This includes the size (6? x 50 toro), factory (Plasencia Cigars S.A. out of Nicaragua), packaging (blacked-out 10-count bundles), and tobacco recipe.
“The 2023 blend is in line with the 2022 release, a dense and intense Nicaraguan puro that incorporates aged long-filler tobaccos from the Jalapa region of Nicaragua with a gorgeous wrapper grown in Esteli”, shared Herklots. “It is a blend that is complex and assertive and is deliberate in its development from start to finish creating very well-balanced and highly engaging experience.”
Where the 2022 was released with 7,000 cigars, this year’s release has been upped to 8,000 cigars (800 bundles). The cigars’ packaging has also been tweaked to signify the 2023 release year, as shown on the sub-band. Pricing has been raised from $150 to $165 per 10-count bundle.
The 2023 meeting of the Tobacconists’ Association of America will be held next week at Casa de Campo in La Romana, Dominican Republic, where retailers can place their orders for the cigars. Ferio Tego expects the Timeless TAA 2023 to ship this April.
