Kyle Gellis of Warped Cigars has announced he is starting yet another new company this time called “Gellis Family Cigars”. Over the years Kyle has launched several new ventures featuring wine, coffee, and even other cigar companies such as Edition One. The new company will make it’s debut at the PCA trade show in March 2024. While it isn’t exactly clear why an entirely new company was necessary Kyle did state “I have been working in the premium cigar industry for 17 years, blending cigars and developing and growing Warped since I was 18 years old,” Gellis said. “Along that journey, I always noticed something was missing from the portfolio of work. When I made the decision to create a brand with my family’s name on it, a new path and tradition was set.” – Kyle Gellis
What this “new path” represents other than a new company name is unclear.
While the company did confirm that Gellis Family Cigars will be distributed by Warped, they made it clear that, Gellis Family Cigars and Warped are separate companies. To launch the new brand the company will feature two offerings the Marevas and the Saunter.
