Last week, Miami Cigar & Co. announced a special celebration event, which will take place on Saturday, July 8th, during the PCA trade show in Las Vegas and will celebrate not only the 25th anniversary of the Tatiana cigar brand but Nestor Miranda’s 80th birthday.
The company has now announced the limited-edition NM80 cigar to go along with the festivities. The cigars were reportedly made in secret by Jason Wood—vice president of Miami Cigar and Nestor’s son-in-law—partnering with the García family and their acclaimed My Father Cigars factory for production. The cigars make use of the Garcías’ Nicaraguan tobaccos as well, being a medium-bodied puro blend geared to suit the palate of cigar icon Nestor Miranda.
Jason Wood said: “I really wanted to create a cigar that Nestor could be proud of. The entire project was tailor-made for Nestor, vitolas, blend and packaging all have that Miranda elegance that makes him the man that we all love. ”
Miami Cigar’s NM80 was rolled in three sizes, with prices set at $18 to $20 per cigar (MSRP). The cigars have been limited to 500 boxes of 10 cigars per size, and will debut at next month’s PCA trade show before shipping to retail.
