Celebrating 50 years in the cigar industry, Quesada Cigars has announced a transition in leadership as it enters a new chapter. Ownership and leadership are now in the hands of Raquel and Patricia Quesada Vega, daughters of longtime patriarch Manuel “Manolo” Quesada, consolidating the family’s legacy within the next generation.
Manuel Quesada expressed pride in passing the company to his daughters, marking this transition as a highlight of his 60-year career. Both Raquel and Patricia shared their commitment to upholding the family’s heritage and continuing Quesada’s dedication to craftsmanship and community. The change comes after a health scare that Manolo endured during the 2024 Pro Cigar Festival in which he is still recovering.
This transition solidifies Quesada Cigars’ standing as a multi-generational, family-owned business, reflecting the family’s ongoing dedication to the industry.
