In 2021 Tatuaje released the Cojonu 2021, a 7 x 58 Belicoso in the Cojonu blend. last year they introduced the 5 x 55 Cojonu 2015 and they are now introducing the Cojonu 2018, a 5 5/8 x 54 soft box press.
The Cojonu series of Tatuaje La Seleccion de Cazador (Brown Label) uses a higher priming Habano wrapper and adds more ligero to the blend resulting in an amped up addition to the line. The first of the Cojonu series was the Cojonu 2003 out of Miami in the very first year of Tatuaje. This was followed every 3 years with a different size being added to the line through 2012. The Cojonu 2012 was released in 3 different wrappers (Habano, Sumatra and Broadleaf) and was meant to be the last of the series that then included the 2003, 2006, 2009 and 2012.
As they did with the 2021 and 2015 releases, these will come in 21 count boxes (3 rows of 7) and will be added to the regular production lineup, being produced at the My Father Cigars factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. These will begin shipping in late May.
