In a devastating announcement, ADVentura Cigars posted on their Instagram account this morning that the Tabacalera William Ventura factory has burned down.
There is no information at this time as to the cause of the fire. And while no injuries have been reported, the factory and its assets are said to be unsalvageable.
As reported by halfwheel this morning, the building that houses Tabacalera William Ventura is also the location of the InterCigar S.A. factory—suffering the same fate as Ventura. They also mention that the PDR Cigars factory is located next to the building, though the fire has not spread to PDR as of their writing.
Home to brands such as Caldwell, Room101, ADV & McKay Cigars Co. (ADVentura), La Barba, Lost & Found, and many more, the Venturas are reportedly working to migrate operations to their smaller El Maestro factory while the company rebuilds. The InterCigar S.A. factory produces cigars for German Engineered Cigars and Xhaxhi Bobi, among others.
ADVentura notes in their post, “WE ASK BUT ONE FAVOR of the cigar community, please be patient with us. Please be patient with all of the retailers who carry the products we produce. We need your support now more than ever. ”
