Quality Importers Trading Company declared 2023 the “Year of the Palió” as there was a big focus on the Palió brand. For many years Palió was known for its innovative cutter. Over the past few years, Palió has become a value-priced brand for cutters and lighters in the Quality Importers portfolio. When Xikar was acquired, that would become the more premium line of cutters and lighters. This year Quality Importers decided to introduce a series with a price point in between the Palió and Xikar series. The new Palió Pro series will feature three lighters priced between $44.99 and $49.99. Meanwhile, Palió as keeps true to its roots as a value-priced brand as Quality Importers introduced a new value-priced lighter known as the Palió Pistola.
Palió Pistola features a high-powered 30-degree angled double-jet flame and a large capacity fuel tank that functions as the grip. Quality Importers says it is specially molded to ensure comfort. Quality Importers says the Pistola can light up to 150 cigars from a full fuel tank. The lighter also contains a large flame adjuster wheel. In addition, there is dedicated space for customization through the Quality Importers Swag Bunker print facility. The Palió Pistola is packaged in 16-count displays featuring four lighters in different color options: smoke, clear, red, and blue. Pricing is set at $14.99 SRP per lighter. The Palió Pistola is set to ship in September.
At the Opening Night party, attendees were each given a Palió Pistola lighter with the QI logo customized by the Swag Bunker.
Three units are a part of the Palió Pro Series. The Palió Pro Scorpius is a large, angled, single-jet torch lighter with a fold-out 7.5mm push cutter and 33mm (1.3?) cigar enhancement poker. The Scorpius is available in five colors: Black, Black/Rose Gold, Red, Blue, and Gunmetal. Each has an MSRP of $29.99. The lighter is a double-jet torch with squeeze-style ignition and a large fuel tank. It’s available in five colors: Black, Gunmetal, Blue, Red, and Silver. Pricing is set at $44.99 MSRP.
Finally, the third Palió Pro lighter is the Polaris. is an inline, triple-jet torch lighter with a textured pull-down ignition and a large fuel tank. It is available in five colors: Black, Black/Rose Gold, Red, Blue, and Silver. Pricing is set at $49.99 MSRP.
All three Palió Pro lighters are expected to ship in October.
