I am sure that you probably do not need any reason to buy cigars other than you want to. Then again, with the problems that everyone is experiencing with regard to money, you just might think that you need reasons to justify your purchases. If so, then let me help you out a bit. Take a look at these reasons and tell me if they justify cigar purchases in this kind of economic atmosphere.
Natural disasters
I have posted entries on how hurricanes have the potential to destroy tobacco crops and this is really common knowledge. Factor in other natural disasters and you know that there just might be the possibility of tobacco becoming in short supply. If you want to have your own stock in case this happens, it is best to purchase cigars when you can.
Taxes
You never know when they just might increase taxes on tobacco soon. We already heard instances of this happening in the past year. Who is to say that the taxes would not increase any time soon? If I were you, I would buy some now while the prices are still manageable.
You never know when you might want one
I don’t know about you but I like having my favorites stocked up and handy whenever I need or want them. Cigars are no exception. I never know when I would want a particular cigar. Just to be on the safe side, I like having some of each kind that I like handy. Makes sense?
