Cigar slow smoking history was recently made at a Time Chase event at the Green Room cigar lounge in Turin, Italy. For the first time ever an event connected to the competition featured only women.
“This is an incredible initiative, and we are thrilled to see more and more women participating,” Ivana Vrdoljak, Club Mareva Vice President, says. “The current world record holder, Klaudia Ide, is an example of how women may truly build and impact CSWC history. With this initiative, the Italian ladies have put the wind in women’s sails, motivating all ladies to participate in CSWC events.”
According to the CSWC the participants proved to be remarkably patient as no penalties were given, and the queen of the competition was Milena Colafrancesco, pushing her cigar to an impressive 1 hour and 19 minutes. Runner-up was Maria Taravella, who managed to keep her cigar going for 1 hour and 14 minutes, followed by Barbara Cais at 1 hour and 08 minutes.
“We can definitely expect more of these amazing women-only CSWC competitions in the future. It’s so exciting to see women making their mark in the cigar world and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. We can’t wait to see what’s next.”
