Since 2016, the Vienna Rumfestival has been captivating rum enthusiasts with an extensive selection of Rums that can be tasted in the atmospheric setting of the Ottakringer Brewery in Vienna.
At this year’s rum fair on September 22nd and 23rd, in addition to classics like Plantation, Don Papa, Ron Zacapa, Diplomático, Bumbu, Havana Club, Barceló, Brugal, and A.H.Riise, there will also be an especially large number of new rum brands making their debut. Among them are El Dorado, Eminente, JJ Manöverschluck, Takamaka, Highball Express, Relicario, Spytail, Emperor, Kuna, Canaoak, La Cruz “Ron de Panama,” Davidsen’s Rum&Blends, Windspiel Manufaktur, Ron Aldea, Romdeluxe, HeulNichtRum, Balcones, Hummingbird, Don Coconut, Simon’s Feinbrennerei, Heffron, Sydney Rum, and Bush Rum Furthermore, Austro Spirits presents some Austrian brands.
At the Vienna Rumfestival, rum enthusiasts have the unique opportunity to get to know hundreds of varieties of rum from all over the world and expand their knowledge about this versatile spirit. International brand ambassadors will travel to Vienna to provide exciting insights into the world of rum. The tropical garden with a rum cocktail bar, Cuban live music, the Vienna R(h)um Award, guided rum walks led by experts, and a large food and bar area complement the program at the Vienna Rumfestival.
