ATL Cigar Co’s Good Trouble line will undergo a blend change. In addition, a third size in the form of a 5 1/4 x 44 will also be added.
The Good Trouble is a line named in honor of the late John Lewis, who served in the United States House of Representatives from 1987 until his death in 2020. The name came from a quote Lewis made in regards to Rosa Parks. “She inspired us to find a way, to get in the way, to get in what I call good trouble, necessary trouble.”
Good Trouble was originally produced at Tabacalera Hernandez, but following ATL Cigar Co’s strategic partnership with Luciano Cigars, production was moved to the Luciano Cigars factory. The blend now features a Habano 2000 wrapper over an Ecuadorian Sun Grown binder, and fillers from Esteli, Jalapa Valley, and Pueblo Nuevo.
Because of the upgraded blend, ATL Cigar Co has increased the pricing on the current offerings of the Good Trouble line by 10%. The Robusto size will now be priced at $10.30 while the Gran Toro will have a price of $13.00. The new Corona size will be priced at $9.50.
ATL Cigar Co. is distributed by Luciano Cigars. The revamped ATL Good Trouble line as well as the new Corona line are expected to be featured at the 2023 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show – which opens July 7, 2023 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
