At the 2023 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, My Father Cigars gave its Vegas Cubanas line a rebrand. The cigar has been repackaged under the Don Pepin Garcia brand as the “Green Label Offering”.
The branding is now consistent with other Don Pepin Garcia cigars which feature the Don Pepin Garcia Original (Blue Label), Don Pepin Garcia Cuban Classic (Black Label), and the Don Pepin Garcia Series JJ. In addition to the branding changes, the Don Pepin Garcia Vegas Cubanas will now be packaged in 20-count boxes.
Vegas Cubanas was originally created by Garcia prior to the launch of My Father Cigars. At the time, the cigar was produced at Garcia’s El Rey de los Habanos factory in Little Havana. Sometime after My Father Cigars was formed, Vegas Cubanas was pulled out of regular production and made available on a limited basis for select accounts. In 2017, Vegas Cubans returned as a regular production offering.
The blend for Vegas Cubanas consists of a Corojo wrapper and Nicaraguan tobaccos grown and harvested at the Garcia family farms in Nicaragua. Produced at the My Father Cigars factory, it will be offered in five sizes: Coronas (5 1/2 x 44, SRP $7.60/cigar), Invictos (5 x 50, SRP $8.50/cigar), Generous (6 x 50, SRP $8.70/cigar), Toro Gordo (6 x 60, SRP $10.00/cigar), and Imperiales (6 1/8 x 52, SRP $9.00/cigar).
