VegaFina has been known for its regional exclusive releases, particularly in Europe. Now for the first time, VegaFina will release a regional exclusive for the U.S. market. The company has announced it has begun shipping the VegaFina Exclusivo USA Patriot to U.S. retailers today.
The VegaFina Exclusivo USA features an Ecuadorian-grown wrapper over a Nicaraguan binder and a combination of Nicaraguan and Dominican fillers. It comes in one size – a 54 x 6 Toro, which is known as Patriot. Production comes from Tabacalera de Garcia in the Dominican Republic.
A total of 1,776 numbered boxes of the VegaFina Exclusivo USA Patriot have been created. One different thing is while Tabacalera SLU has handled distribution for the European regional releases, the VegaFina Exclusivo USA Patriot will be distributed by Altadis USA. Pricing is set at $13.00.
At press time, there have been seven limited edition regional “Exclusivo” releases from VegaFina. Each has been unique for the region. There have been variations of the blend along the way.
