Patina Cigars have announced they will be expanding their portfolio to include a new line called the Oro de Nicaragua, available in 4 sizes: 5 x 54 (Robusto), 6 x 52 (Toro), 6 ¼ x 54 (Toro Extra), and a 7 x 40 (Lancero).
“My connection to the name Oro de Nicaragua started nearly a decade ago when Casa de Montecristo in Chicago had commissioned production of the cigar to My Father Cigars. It was one of the first cigars that really got me into the world of boutique cigars, remember this was about ten years ago. Since the name hadn’t been used in quite some time, I approached Mike and Sam about having Patina make the Oro de Nicaragua for them which ultimately led to Patina purchasing the name and now creating a core line. The Oro de Nicaragua is a wonderfully complex and well-balanced cigar that will be the fullest Patina offering to date and I’m excited to add it to our growing portfolio.”
