We only have less than a month before Father’s Day. I don’t know how you do it, but in my family, we take Mother’s Day and Father’s Day quite seriously. Even if we cannot be together on that particular day, us children make it a point to do something special for our parents. We either send a gift or send them on a trip – whichever is possible at the given time.
This year, Father’s Day is on June 21, 2009, a Sunday as usual. Have you thought of a gift for your dad? If he is the smoking kind – even if he does not smoke regularly – why not give him some cigars?
If your dad is not a big cigar smoker but he appreciates stogies every now and then, it is a great idea to get a cigar sampler. You can find samplers containing all sorts of cigars both in online stores and brick and mortar cigar shops. I would suggest choosing a sampler that contains cigars with mild to medium flavors, especially for beginner smokers.
While you’re at it, you might as well pick up accessories. This is especially applicable if your dad is starting to take up cigars as a hobby. To complete your gift, you can check out cigar boxes, humidors, lighters, cutters, and so on. After all, you can’t simply just give a bunch of cigars and not include the tools that your dad will need to smoke them, right?
